Over the weekend, April & Jamie ran the Asheville TW8K, (Thomas Wolf 8 K) and being a good husband I went to support my wife, and carry her home or to the hospital.
So sitting on the sidelines waiting, I decided to twitter the event from my Verizon Black Berry 8300, and thought what a great idea this was. Loved one's could sit at home and follow the race on twitter, and not have to brace the cold, wet Saturday.
better yet, maybe someone would pay me to twitter, or blog the event!

Asheville Citizen Times 5K
A week ago, saterday. I ran my 3rd 5K, in Down Town Asheville, and I was awesome!
I knocked close to 4 mins off my best time.
I ran my 1st 5K in 44 mins (Asheville Chamber Challenge)
My 2nd 5K (Weaverville) in 39 mins
My 3rd 5K (Asheville Citizen Times in 34 mins last Saturday!
what's next! I will Chear my wife on from the sidelines in her TW8K (Thompson Wolf 8 K) in a week.
I'm a 5 K Professional, and if I start running more then 5K's, I might get crazy and run
a 1/2 marathon! So to play it safe, it is 5K's or less.
the best part about the 5K last week, was there was also a 1/2 Marathon going on at the same time. So while ruining my 5K (3.1 miles) I would see signs for the "mile marker 13"! It made me feel better about myself, running the last stretch, knowing 3.1 miles is nothing, compared to the people running 13 miles! I don't even think I get 13 mile out of a gallon of Gas in My SUV!
Any who, I had a blast, and I look forward to my next 5 K, and running it in less then 30 mins.
29 min and 59 sec will be just fine.
